About Us

Welcome to Liss Community Association (LCA)

Exterior view of the front of the Triangle CentreThe Triangle is run by the Liss Community Association (LCA) which was formed in 1996 to set up a community centre in the old Infant School building in the centre of the village.  The LCA is a registered charity and is managed by a committee of Trustees many of whom are drawn from the clubs and societies who use the centre.

These individuals give their time on a voluntary basis and work together to achieve a common goal – to provide leisure and learning facilities that are accessible to everyone in the community.

What We Do

The Triangle fulfils many important roles for our community and is open for activities 7 days a week from 9am – 11pm.

It provides:

A place for clubs and societies to meet                                                                                     computer tuition in the IT suite at the Triangle Centre
A pre-school group for 2-5 year olds
An after school club for 4-16 year olds
Regular cinema nights
Special events and activities in response to villagers’ requests
A place to meet friends for a coffee or light lunch
A flexible venue that can be hired for children’s parties and family celebrations, or for a business meeting
Access to the internet and use of an IT centre
Use of photocopying and laminating equipment
