Mencap Visiting Volunteer – Liss

Could you or someone you know make a positive impact on the life of a person with a learning disability? Can you spare 12 hours a year?

We are looking for volunteers to join the Mencap Visiting Service, an empowering service to people with a learning disability, after their parents have passed away.

You would need to volunteer around six times a year in your own time to support people to enjoy the activities they love. This could be anything from staying in for a cuppa and cake, to going on day trips and outings.

Volunteers receive induction and ongoing support from the volunteering team, plus expenses and mileage.

For more information about the role and the service, please visit our website.

Please note, you will first need to register to use the Mencap recruitment system and then you will then be able to apply by filling in the application form online.
