Woodcraft Folk

Empowering young people. One of the best youth clubs in the Southeast!

A national movement for children and young people, open to everyone from birth to adult. We offer a place where children will grow in confidence, learn about the world and start to understand how to value our planet and each other. Each term we have a pretty packed calendar of events. On group nights we do craft activities, we cook, we sing, we play games, we let everyone know our news, and generally have a good time. Sometimes we have visitors (like the reptile man, or the samba drummers). We do lots of special trips – bug hunts, camps, BBQ nights, midnight walks, etc. Pop in and see what you think.

There are four different clubs for different age ranges. The clubs tend to overlap each other so that they get to mix. Below are the meeting times for these clubs, however do check the events calendar on the website for occasional changes.

Elfins – 4 to 8 year olds. Meeting at 6pm until 8pm on Fridays
Pioneers – 9-11 year olds. Meeting at  7pm until 9pm on Fridays
Venturers – Senior school upwards. Meeting at 8pm until 10pm on Fridays
Third Place – Young people 13+. Meeting at 8pm until 10pm on Fridays
Third Place – 13-25 year olds. 7.30pm until 9:30 on Mondays
