The Triangle After School Club (TASC) is a “not for profit” club set up in 1997 to provide after school care for families in Liss.

We offer a flexible approach to childcare and you can book your children with us for just an hour, or a full session from 3.15pm – 6.00pm. The club is well resourced with a wide variety of activities for the children which includes a strong focus on fun.

The club is registered with the local authorities and is inspected regularly by OfSTED (TASC Ofsted No. 509518).

At First Steps we aim to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where pre-school children feel secure and cared for and where each child feels confident to make friends and develop their individual personality and skills.

The pre-school is registered with Ofsted under the Children Act 1989 for a maximum of 30 children per session in two classrooms, with an adult ratio of 1:4 for children aged 2-3 years and 1:8 for children aged 3-5 years.

We provide a high standard of learning through play with sessions running each morning during term time and on two afternoons. For children between the ages of 2 and 5 years, the pre-school provides a curriculum for the foundation stage of education. There are a wide variety of activities for the children including pre-reading, writing and number work, art, craft, cookery, gardening, imaginative and outside play, music, songs and stories. The pre-school also caters for children’s individual needs for rest and quiet activities during the day.

The pre-school rooms are spacious, warm, light and airy with wood block flooring, low surface temperature radiators, display boards and security locks to doors. There is direct access to an internal courtyard for sand and water play pits in summer. A walled external play area is also available for outdoor games, bikes etc. There are private low-level children’s toilets and hand basins with paper towels, and easy access to a disabled toilet.

Session times and days (during term time only)

Afternoon sessions: Wednesday and Thursday 12.00 noon to 3.00pm
Full day sessions: Wednesday and Thursday 9.00am to 3.00pm
