Come and join us on Saturday 1st December from 4pm – 6pm as we will be open as part of the Liss Christmas event. We will have a range over 30 stalls including Ashford Turkey Farm and Cocks Crackers as well as the Coffee Bar open serving hot drinks, mulled wine and mince pies. We will also have Home Town Food with their award winning sauages!

Documents for the new West Liss pavilion project are now available to view on the Liss Parish Council website . Village residents can view the documents by visiting www.lissparishcouncil.gov.uk and clicking on West Liss Pavilion Development. The parish council is keen for residents to have their say about the pavilion, and villagers will be welcome to attend pavilion meetings.
The next big event will be the Summer Show on Sunday 7 August in the Triangle Centre at 2.00pm. Closing date for entries is Wednesday 3 August. You do not need to be a member to enter, so please help to keep the tradition of the village show alive by taking part and coming along to see what it is all about and to admire some of the flowers and floral arrangements. Admission is only 30p, exhibitors and children free. Refreshments will be available. The Show includes floral arrangements, needlecraft, cookery, photography and a children’s section as well as vegetables and flowers. We will also be looking for the longest runner bean and heaviest marrow! Elaine Healey will be leaving at the end of this term. Elaine has been here for nearly 20 years, and will be greatly missed. Everyone at the Triangle would like to wish her success in her new role at the Infants School, and thank her for all her hard work over the years. Elaine’s successor will be Jane Fisher, who starts in September.
Crossover Youth Centre are holding an Open Day on Saturday 9th July from 10 – 2 at St Mary’s Church Hall, Station Road Liss.
