The 4th Liss Film Festival takes place from 18th – 21st February. Once again we look forward to welcoming you to a wide range of films, to appeal to all tastes and ages.
We will open the festival with the very popular Fizz & Canapés reception, and a screening of Ricki & The Flash. Tickets are £12.00 and must be purchased in advance. We are delighted that the Guest of Honour this year is Sam Hiller.
On Friday 19th, there will be a mini – theme, featuring films directed by Kenneth Branagh. In the afternoon, Cinderella will be shown, with the opportunity to have Afternoon Tea in our lovely café after the film. Afternoon tea will have to be pre-booked, and any dietary requirements advised when booking. The combined film & tea price is £10.00. Tickets for the film only are £6.00 in advance and £7.00 on the door, with £3.00 for children.
The evening film will be the remake Sleuth, from 2007. Tickets £6.00 in advance, £7.00 on the door.
Saturday’s children’s film is The Song of the Sea, an animated film which has won critical acclaim. We will have pic’n’mix, icecreams and drinks for children at .50p each, and the café will be open for refreshments for adults. Tickets are £4.00 for adults, £3 for children.
The evening film is Kingsman:The Secret Service, where the usual refreshments will be on offer. Tickets £6.00 in advance, £7.00 on the door.
Our Sunday closing film is Suffragette. There will be a matinée screening, at 2.00, and then the Gala Dinner and film in the evening. Tickets for the matinée are £6.00 in advance, £7.00 on the door.
The Gala Evening will feature a fizz reception, 2 course meal and film, for £22.00 per person. Tickets must be booked in advance with meal choices, and any dietary requirements.
